IT WIRELESS ACCOUNTANT

Client is looking for a highly motivated Senior Accountant. Our purpose is to safeguard company assets and produce timely, accurate and meaningful financial information to facilitate management decision making and to comply with external reporting requirements. This position works in a high demand and often ambiguous environment, those comfortable with change and uncertainty will thrive.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate and timely financial reporting and accounting services, requiring the application of operational, accounting and financial concepts within the time frame determined by management
• Perform monthly close duties, including general journal entries, reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, and preparation of financial reporting
• Develop solutions to capture financial data for unique business transactions
• Collaborate with individuals throughout the organization with an emphasis on sharing information
• Assist in development and implementation of processes and reporting for capturing 5G wireless network buildout
• Continually review processes in order to create efficiencies
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Minimum required skills / experience:

• A working knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures of accounting (including Journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, US GAAP)
• Inherent curiosity and eagerness to learn complex and ever-evolving businesses
• Ability to exercise independent judgment, work independently and meet deadlines; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
• Advanced computer skills in Excel and experience using Oracle Financials a plus
• Communicates ideas confidently and clearly; effectively communicates with other team members
• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university (preferably Accounting)
• 2 4 years of public accounting experience (Big 4 or tier 2 firm)
• 5 7 years of progressive accounting or finance experience in growth companies
