Job Description

To strengthen the existing team we are looking for a:

Pricing Actuary (m/f/d)
based in Hanover, Germany

Tasks

  • You further develop the pricing function within HDI Global Specialty including the interfaces to our international locations
  • You develop and implement pricing models using classical and modern actuarial methods in close cooperation with the underwriting department
  • You perform actuarial valuations of agencies for delegated authority business
  • You further develop the actuarial controlling of agency business in international markets
  • You are responsible for conducting and communicating ad-hoc analyses on the pricing of special acceptances
  • You participate in projects of HDI Global Specialty SE

Requirements

  • Successfully completed master's degree in (economic) mathematics with in-depth knowledge of stochastics/statistics
  • Several years of professional experience in the actuarial department of an international (re)insurance company, preferably in pricing
  • Completed training as an actuary (DAV or comparable)
  • Analytical thinking skills and enjoyment of working in an international team
  • Knowledge of statistical software and/or programming languages, as well as databases desirable
  • Ability to work in a team and enjoy interdisciplinary cooperation and communication
  • Very good knowledge of German and English
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to maintain the international network
