MLOps Engineer (m/f/d)

What we do

Merantix Momentum is a Berlin-based AI startup focusing on accelerating AI adoption across many industries through B2B solutions, as well as publicly funded research projects. We work across several domains, including automotive, manufacturing, retail, healthcare and many more, transforming businesses as an external machine learning department. We achieve this using our core expertise in state-of-the-art machine learning combined with our culture of rapid iterations to build scalable solutions.

Your role

Your role is to build our machine learning development platform and bring state-of-the-art machine learning solutions to production.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Solve complex industry problems by planning and executing ML projects
• Automate and improve our DevOps and MLOps processes by advancing our internal developer platform
• Support infrastructure users in the adoption of our solutions

Your profile

The ideal candidate loves to interact with our team members and clients, identifying areas of improvement of our infrastructure, and brings excellent technical skills in order to ensure a robust product ionization of our machine learning models. We are looking for driven, capable, and prudent talents with proven track records of personal, academic, and professional achievement. Our hierarchy is flat and communication direct, which means that we operate and learn fast, as a team.

You are a great fit for our team if you bring these qualifications:

• MSc in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field or equivalent working experience
• Strong programming skills in Python and bash
• More than 3 years of experience with one or more of the following cloud providers: Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure
• Previous experience with infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform or Ansible)
• Experience developing CI/CD pipelines (Cloud build, Jenkins, Circle CI, Travis, or similar)
• Experience in ML pipelining (e.g., MLFlow, Flyte, Kubeflow, Spark)
• More than 3 years of experience running and monitoring distributed systems with Kubernetes and Docker
  Fluency in English
