We are looking for you, an experienced Backend Developer (m/f/d) with immediate effect. Driven by a clear mission, you will work on the heart of our start-up, the software. The software aims to deliver a real-time view of the circularity of the company and its products, suggesting individualized strategies on how to improve products and match them with suitable implementation partners. Furthermore, the circularity data opens many opportunities to go even further, which we would love to discuss and prototype with you.

With our existing core team, we have already successfully implemented our MVP solution for the first customers. With your development skills, you will ensure that we build a software solution that lasts and makes the world more circular.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in programming software in languages as Java, Scala, Golang, ideally in a SaaS environment
• Experience in deciding on the right tech stack and architecture for the product vision
• Experience in a cloud environment as AWS, Google, Azure
• Be able to solve complex problems, have absolute reliability, and the ability prioritize tasks in a goal-oriented manner
• Must be fluent in English, fluency in German is a plus
• Sustainability and the circular economy knowledge and interest are a plus

Your tasks

• Take ownership of building a reliable product and its features from design to operation
• Work with the latest technologies developing break-through solutions in a new software category that is scalable and functions in real-time
• Creation of clean, efficient code based on the requirements
• Connection and integration of external systems (APIs) and experience in service-oriented architecture and microservice implementation
• Further development of the product roadmap and the product in coordination with CPO
• Define architecture and system requirements
