The Global Digital Engagement IT team is globally focused and effectively builds solutions / capabilities for Marketing, Corporate Affairs and Medical organizations globally. The team owns social media, search and tagging technologies, as well as the Customer Experience Hub (CEH) personalization technology strategy and capability.
Position Description
The Social Media Technology Associate will lead several priority initiatives across the Global Social Media portfolio. The high-level responsibilities include supporting, evaluating and delivering social media solutions to the global organization, collaborating across IT teams and business partners to solve complex and inter-connected problems, and looking externally to drive innovation in the digital space. As the Global Digital Engagement team supports many channels, this role also has opportunity to support and integrate with other capabilities including paid and organic search, analytics, website, tagging and personalization teams!
Specific responsibilities include:
Investigate, pilot, scale, validate and support social media technologies and integrated capabilities for the Global Organization, including US Customer Marketing, Corporate Affairs, Medical and International teams
Evaluate and communicate risks, technical barriers, advancements and innovation opportunities for social media
Adapt and document IDS principles and processes and apply them to the social media space to maintain the compliance of the capability
Analyze existing processes for improvement and identify and resolve process gaps
Serve as Account Owner for priority social media business partner(s)
Look externally to bring innovative social media technology and data solutions to
Support our customer groups
Collaborate with other members of the Global Digital Engagement organization and connect the silos of our digital channels
This position
Basic Qualifications:Bachelors Degree
1+ years in a digital engagement or IT organization
Proactive mindset that can solve issues and involve stakeholders as needed
Experience leading cross-functional projects
Experiences working in a fast-paced environment
Ability to understand business requirements and effectively translate business needs and process into technical terms, and vice versa.
Experience working across multiple customer groups
Strong learning agility
Strong verbal and written communications skills with high attention to detail
Have strong self-management skills and ability to work in ambiguity
Familiarity with social media technologies such as: LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok
Bilingual (Spanish preferred but any bilingual ability is beneficial)
Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic, constantly evolving environment
Experience working with search and web analytics technologies
Experience working directly with the US affiliate
