Our client, OTenpoint Therapeutics Ltd, a company founded in 2020 is dedicated to the creation and development of novel, innovative cell-based / regenerative therapies for the treatment of ocular diseases. Tasks
- Support the research activities with well-organised and efficient lab core processes and well-maintained equipment.
- Responsible for identifying needs of the research labs, providing efficient solutions in a timely manner and managing the day-to-day activities/needs of the lab.
- Together with research scientists, plan facility and equipment purchase, maintenance, attend/repair, monitoring and surveillance (eg.: temperature sensitive devices with integrated alarms)
- Help establishing and maintaining BSL1 & BSL2 lab permits, facilities, its safety (biosafety officer) and hygiene plans as well as necessary documentation (e.g: Biokataster)
- Evaluation of outsourcing options / product alternatives
- Active communication with building managers / Tenpoint labs to adapt lab infrastructure to current needs and proactively implement required solutions.
- Support wet lab activities
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree preferably in Life sciences (biology, biotechnology, genetic engineering), medical laboratory, or other relevant area
- Experience in start-up/pharma environments is strongly preferred. Health and life science experience will be favourably considered.
- Demonstrated flexibility and professional maturity to readily understand priorities, anticipate needs and proactively provide solutions in a timely manner.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft office including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint along with experience setting up systems and databases.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills (fluent in German and English are a must) including attention to detail
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with individuals and groups at all organisation levels.
- Flexible with exceptional multi-tasking skills and proactive behaviour.
- Team-player, confident and a positive can-do attitude.
