We are manufacturing Photonic Integrated Circuits (PICs) for customers in high-tech areas such as Quantum Technologies, LiDAR, Space Technologies and Biosensors. To support our continued growth, we are looking for a:
Process Engineer
Integrated Photonics, Nanoengineering (ID 2209-PE)
Tasks
- Execute prototype and small-scale fabrication runs at the CMi clean room for photonic integrated circuits in all technical areas (lithography, thin film, etching and back-end).
- Support Ligentec process engineering team with the execution of standard and special process steps and characterization work for R&D work orders.
- Perform quality control, SPC data collection, modelling, reporting & action propositions.
- Process improvement projects for yield improvement and defect reduction
- Troubleshoot and solve on-site fabrication problems
- Validate new tools and processes
Requirements
- Min of 3 years of experience in a relevant environment with hands-on experience in clean room processes such as lithography, dry etching, PVD or CVD.
- Industrial working experience is a strong plus
- Ability to work in a team and independently.
- Working proficiency in English. Good command of French is a plus.
- Work/residence permit for Switzerland or CH / EU citizenship.
