Application Engineer

We are currently looking for a talented, savvy, fun and driven Application Engineer to join our team in Berlin and help us to successfully apply and iterate our revolutionary sensing technology with early customers. This position requires both, strong technical abilities and project management skills.

Tasks

As an Application Engineer, you will operate as the interface between our early customers, our development team and our business team. You will be guiding the application development for the customer's use case and ensure functionality of our technology for the customer.

As an Application Engineer, your key task is to always be on top of delivering the promised functionality of the application, both on a hands-on technical level and the project management level:

• Structuring, planning and management of application projects
• Specification of requirements for project-related customer workshops
• Support of the development team in adapting the frontend (React) to customer-specific needs
• Hands-on installation and implementation of the developed system on-site in collaboration with the customer
• Troubleshooting of issues during implementation, e.g. IT or Network related issues

Requirements

• You have an exceptional drive and a very high level of initiative.
• You are open-minded, friendly and have very strong communication skills.
• Basic Programming Skills in: C++, Python, React/JavaScript
• Experience of network fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
• You have working knowledge of Linux system administration
• Construction skills (hands-on assembly of electrical and mechanical installations) would be beneficial (optional)
• Fluent in German and English (MUST).
