Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Technology Delivery Engineer to manage the company s supply of Fibre services from various wholesalers. The chosen candidate's responsibilities include ordering, verifying, and follow-up with suppliers and carriers. The Technology Delivery Engineer will also perform basic troubleshooting and assist with general inquiries/tickets raised by customers.


Responsibilities:
  • Ordering Fibre services from various wholesalers such as AAPT/TPG, Telstra, Optus.
  • Verifying customers' orders to ensure correct address/site contacts / obtaining photos of delivery location.
  • Providing customers with regular order updates.
  • Following up with carriers for order updates and ensuring any orders that are going to miss deadlines are appropriately escalated.
  • Upon delivery of the service advise the customers of the IP / username and password details for the service and request them to test and ensure adequate speeds.
  • Basic troubleshooting utilizing internal systems/tools as well as systems/tools provided by the carrier.
  • Submit Phone Number Porting (LNP) and coordinate cutover time with customers.
  • Provision basic SIP/Hosted Voice/Teams Calling services.
  • Assist with general inquiries/tickets raised by customers.


Requirements

  • Experience with order management
  • General IT knowledge
  • Basic troubleshooting and understanding of firewalls
  • Clear English and strong written skills are necessary
  • SDWAN skills such as Meraki / Velo Cloud / Sonicwall would be ideal but not essential.
  • Previous telco skills preferred but do not need to be with an Australian ISP.
  • Must have Fiber Optic internet with at least 25 Mbps bandwidth
  • Must have a backup desktop or laptop with the latest OS
  • Must be able to work from10AM-7PM or 9PM-6PM including Saturdays
  • Must be amenable to work in-office as required
