Job Description

Your mission is to contribute to strategies supporting rollout of our services in 5G and beyond, in NFV / GCP, to contribute to the automation of routine/repetitive activities, to improve existing workflows and network capacity/service quality, to support the team with the real-time monitoring, maintenance, support, operations, including on-call. Last, but not least, to predict failure, initialize self-healing mechanisms and failover, and recommend proactive healing process. What you bring

  • A very strong knowledge of Wireless (5G/LTE/HSPA), Fixed Voice (VoIP/NGN/TDM), Messaging (SMS/MMS/VMS) network architectures/call flows, technologies, networking routing, and signaling protocols
  • Working knowledge of Telecommunication OSS and BSS management network and systems
  • Familiar with CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery), DevOps best practices
  • Experience with testing and provisioning automation tool sets (Sigos, Jenkins, Splunk, Python, Java, Robot Framework, postgres/sql database)
  • Working knowledge of API integration (REST/SOAP), XML, JSON, YAML
  • Hands-on experience in automation application/scripts development in various environments (Linux, Shell, Web, Windows, etc.)
  • Know how to architect and deploy secure and robust services/applications on private cloud using NFV infrastructure, SDN (Openstack, Openshift, Contrail), GCP
  • A team player with ability to build relationships, influence others and foster ownership within cross-functional teams
  • Capable of tackling ambiguous problems, bringing structure and process to help shape solutions
  • Good written and oral communication skills, including creating and delivering presentations, summarizing technical content for an executive audience
  • 5+ of years of experience as a software developer or network engineering, preferably in a DevOps environment
  • Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
