You ll independently maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, robotic, and automated equipment in our client s Calgary manufacturing operation. You ll provide technical support to manufacturing technicians, value stream managers, production supervisors, and engineers, while learning from the best this sector has to offer.
Requirements
We are looking for someone to become a key member of our client s local team. Someone who wants a chance to learn from a leading team of professionals. It is ok if you consider yourself more a novice, but you should at least have several years of working experience in electromechanical maintenance within a similarly fast-paced, high-volume Lean manufacturing environment. If you are tired of mundane, repetitive work and want to join a friendly, enthusiastic team with limitless potential, we would love to meet you.
There are no specific technology requirements for this role, but we would like to meet candidates who are familiar with spreadsheets and databases. An organized tech with electromechanical training (preferred), experience in electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, and/or robotic maintenance. Candidates who can read blueprints/schematics, and problem solve/troubleshoot are appreciated. Extended skill sets are welcome and encouraged (like team spirit, communication, or experience with sewing equipment).
Benefits
- Progress in your career, earn an optional pension (as well as comprehensive benefits), earn overtime pay, and work in a desirable location
- Learn lifelong skills providing technical support to production, maintenance, safety, testing, and process improvement
- Increase your ability to use schematics, diagrams, and defined plans to perform testing and troubleshooting on electronic, robotic, and mechanical components, equipment, and systems
- Gather, maintain, format, and compile technical data using established formulae and procedures to perform detailed calculations
- Continue to develop skills practicing Lean principles, participating in Kaizen events and Continuous Improvement (CI) projects.
