Job Description
- Responsible for development of business unit safety teams, audit programs and safety engagement opportunities
- Work directly with Safety/HR/Operations to update and maintain safety databases
- Maintain knowledge/expertise on existing/proposed changes in radiation safety regulations
- Will serve as the first point of contact for the safety program
- Responsible for partnering with the business units to develop safety strategy
- Works with shift safety team resource to ensure coverage of
- Work to develop safety leadership throughout the organization - will be the resource and not necessarily the "doer"
- Conducts work site surveys and daily facility inspections to ensure facility and procedural compliance with applicable regulations
- Responsible for the maintenance and updating of all required reports and records applicable to the training, safety, use and storage of hazardous waste materials and programs
- Conducts routine inspection of all waste storage areas to ensure compliance with storage requirements and regulations
