We are hands on business improvement specialists.
Established in Australia in 2004 by ex-Toyota lean experts we have gone on to provide lean support and expertise to companies all over the world. We have had an office in the UK since 2006.
Our main purpose is to help companies remove waste from their business. We do this through direct support, coaching or training.
We are on the Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers and have a contract with the SFA to deliver apprenticeship training to both Levy and None Levy paying companies.
We are not sector specific and believe that lean principles can be applied in any environment. We have clients that vary in size from multinational global organisations through to owner-managed businesses.
We work in areas as diverse as telecommunications and banking through to Automotive and defence.
Purpose:
We are seeking a confident and energetic individual, with excellent organisational and communication skills, to provide world class business improvement training. Delivering the Level 2 and 3 apprenticeship in Improving Operational Performance to our nationwide client base.
Working at the client s premises and from home. With days at the office in Harrogate as required.
This role has excellent potential to expand going forward for the successful candidate.
Although you will self-manage your diary and caseload, you will also be part of the CLS team who regularly get together for standardisation and improvement meetings and offsite days.
This role is client and learner focused You need to be able to support the learners to deliver value adding projects during the training programs. Based on both Learner and client needs.
Our delivery is through a learn by doing model, where the trainers support the learners in the workplace in putting into place the knowledge gained in the classroom.
You need to have experience of implementing improvement projects to apply for this role.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assessor and IQA qualifications are essential for this role.
A background in working for a training provider delivering apprenticeships.
A good understanding of Lean.
Experience of working in a Manufacturing / Lean role.
Experience of delivering the Level 2 and 3 apprenticeship in Improving Operational Performance.
Six sigma experience to support the development of new standards.
Self-motivated and ambitious.
Strong communications skills both written and verbally.
Experience and qualifications in delivering Functional Skills are also essential.
Proficient in Microsoft packages.
Resilient and dedicated.
Full driving licence.
Pension 5%
