Provides leadership, guidance, and technical assistance to Carpentry Technicians in the performance of their day-to-day activities.
Disseminates instructions to lower level workers on information received from supervisors and gets work started by assigning the immediate tasks to members of the Work group.
Examines and inspects work progress and equipment, to verify safety and to ensure that specifications are met.
Provides appropriate skill related training to subordinates.
Monitors and reviews information from materials, events, or the environment, to detect or assess problems.
Monitor and update Work Order information on CMMS (MAXIMO).
Monitors equipment, material installation, and repairs to Carpentry equipment in accordance with applicable technical manuals.
Oversees troubleshooting and verifies diagnoses of assigned project equipment.
Inspects Carpentry equipment and components for correct installation, function, .and verification of system compliance with plans and specifications and to detect and locate malfunctions.
Records and reports all faults, deficiencies, and other unusual occurrences, as well as the time and materials expended on work orders.
Ensure compliance with Performance Work Statement and applicable Vectrus POs and PIOPs.
