Job Description
- Develop and maintain refractory installation procedures for EAF, steel ladles, tundishes and any general insulation/structural refractory such as drop-out box lining, run out chutes, emergency boxes, etc.
- Daily reports and consumption/performance monitoring
- Campaign reports
- Statistical analysis of data (daily and campaign to campaign)
- Support to continuous improvement team (goal to reduce specific refractory consumption and cost)
- Practical implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
- Technical support and troubleshooting of refractory and equipment performance problems
- Daily communication and interaction, to review material and equipment performance issues
