WHAT YOU WILL GET TO DO

• Develop and implement data governance policies standards and frameworks.
• Define data governance processes and workflows to ensure data quality integrity and security.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across different departments to establish data ownership and accountability.
• Conduct regular assessments and audits to monitor compliance with data governance policies.
• Implement data classification and data lifecycle management practices.
• Develop and maintain data quality metrics and ensure they are monitored and reported on regularly.
• Provide guidance and support to business units on data governance best practices and procedures.
• Lead data governance training and awareness programs for staff members.
• Stay current with industry trends and regulatory requirements related to data governance and data management.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

• Be a thought leader in data governance and experience in implementing data governance for complex multibilliondollar enterprises.
• Possess a strong understanding of data mesh data products and decentralized data governance.
• Experience with data lineage data quality data security and metadata management.
• Understanding of data governance tools such as Collibra and Informatica in terms of their strengths and weaknesses.
• A bachelors or masters degree in computer science Engineering Information Systems or relevant degree is required.
• Candidates can reside anywhere in the U.S. and work remotely; however must be able to work during client business hours (8 a.m. 5 p.m. CT).
• Willingness to travel up to 50%
