Job Title: IT Support Specialist
Location: Albany NY (Hybrid)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Provide firstlevel support for ITrelated issues including hardware software and network troubleshooting.
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems promptly ensuring minimal disruption to users.
- Perform regular maintenance and updates on computers servers and other IT equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist users with setting up and configuring computer hardware software and peripherals.
- Maintain accurate records of support requests resolutions and system changes in the IT helpdesk system.
- Provide training and guidance to users on best practices for using IT systems and software.
- Assist with network troubleshooting and maintenance including WiFi and VPN connections.
- Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures to protect company data and systems.
Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience in an IT support role.
- Proficiency in Windows and Mac operating systems Microsoft Office Suite and common software applications.
- Basic understanding of networking principles including TCP/IP DNS and DHCP.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- CompTIA A Network or similar certifications are a plus.
