Junior Accounts Associate

Our Client is looking to expand their dynamic team of professionals within our Client Accounting team.

Tasks

• Analysis of invoices provided by client
• Posting them in accounting package
• Scanning the documentation when necessary
• Assisting with the maintenance of fixed asset register
• Assistance with calculating depreciation
• Assistance with sourcing supporting documentation when necessary.
• Assistance with payroll
• Assistance with preparation of management accounts.
• Prepare Income Tax and VAT returns accompanied by computations for a variety of local and international clients
• Assist team with technical tax matters
• Handle client communications and attend client meetings
• Liaise with Tax Authorities
• Provide quality service to clients
• Conduct research on relevant tax legislations
• Assess clients and report on compliance with legislation.

Requirements

• Applicants should have started the process to attain their ACCA professional qualifications
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
• Positive cando attitude
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team
• Proactive and organised with a keen eye for detail
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
