Minimum Requirements
Candidates must have current medical license to practice.
Western training: American Board/ UK CCT/ Australia or NZ Royal College Fellowship/ Western European Specialisation Board.
Experience: 3 to 5 years post board or specialisation certification experience depending on country of origin to qualify for Consultant with the Saudi Council.
Fluent in Arabic
Please note that the standard working week is 48 hours / 6 days as per Saudi labour law.
Role & responsibilities Urgent requirement of Interventional Cardiologist with minimum 5 years of experience to handle the cathlab related procedures independently.
Responsibilities:
Intraarterial lines insertion and management;
Percutaneous coronary intervention cardiac catheterization and angiography;
Pericardiocentesis;
Echocardiography Interpretation;
Temporary trans venous pacemaker placement;
Stress test interpretation;
Fluoroscopy privileges and certification;
Central venous line insertion and management;
Interpret EKGs;
Debulking devices including CSI atherectomy rotablator laser Angiojet for intervention for cardiovascular diseases;
Interpret holter monitors;
Incumbent will be expected to practice in accordance with professional standards core values and with a commitment to service excellence;
Intraaortic balloon pump insertion and management;
Peripheral arterial interventions;
Arterial puncture.
