1. Staff Supervision:
Assist in recruiting training and supervising bakery staff.
Support the creation of staff schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels.
Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback.
Address minor employee concerns and escalate major issues to the Branch Manager.
2. Customer Service:
Ensure that all customers receive highquality service.
Assist in handling customer complaints and resolving issues effectively.
Help implement customer service strategies to improve satisfaction and loyalty.
3. Daily Operations:
Oversee the daily operations in the absence of the Branch Manager.
Ensure the bakery is clean organized and wellmaintained.
Monitor equipment to ensure it is functioning properly and report any issues.
4. Inventory Management:
Assist in managing inventory levels and placing orders with suppliers.
Conduct regular inventory checks and audits.
Ensure that all products are stored and handled according to safety standards.
5. Sales and Marketing Support:
Help promote new products and special offers.
Assist in implementing local marketing strategies to attract customers.
Provide input on customer preferences and trends to the marketing team.
6. Health and Safety:
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Conduct regular safety inspections.
Train staff on proper food handling and safety procedures
Requirements
1. Education:
a. Min SPM / Diploma or higher education or certificates in related field
2. Experience:
a. Previous experience in a supervisory role within the food service or retail industry.
b. Experience in a bakery setting is preferred.
3. Skills:
a. Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
b. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
c. Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
d. Basic financial management and budgeting knowledge.
e. Knowledge of food safety and health regulations.
f. Proficiency in using pointofsale systems and other relevant software.
