We are looking for a QA Engineer (m/w/d) DevOps Portal for our customer in Berlin.

As a QA Engineer in the DevOps Portal Squad you will be integrated into an agile DevOps team addressing QA and testing needs in line with a CI/CD approach. Your role involves close daily communication with development engineers and earlystage test implementation (design manual execution automation). You will be responsible for component and component integration testing within the team and participate in endtoend test design to ensure stable crosssquad component integration.

Your tasks
Test Design and Execution: Design manually execute and automate tests to validate the quality of the DevOps portal components and their integrations with other DOE components.
Release Test Planning: Plan and execute release tests including regression test runs to ensure the stability and reliability of DevOps portal components.
Issue Identification: Assist development engineers in identifying and resolving issues related to DevOps portal components before release.
QA Approval: Approve the readiness of DevOps portal components for release.
Comprehensive Reporting: Provide detailed and comprehensive QA reports to the QA lead and Product Owner highlighting the quality and readiness of DevOps portal components.
CrossSquad Collaboration: Participate in endtoend test design to ensure stable integration of DevOps portal components across different squads.
Documentation and Communication: Maintain clear and concise test documentation and communicate effectively with team members to ensure understanding and collaboration.

Must have competences
Strong experience in requirements analysis and test documentation (test design test reporting)
Strong experience with Jira and Confluence
E2e testing of webbased applications
Manual and automated UI/UX testing & API testing
Practical experience with Postman for API testing.
Understanding of CI/CD technologies (e.g. GitLab ArgoCD or similar) for continuous testing and deployment.
Ability to understand complex systems abstract relevant information and communicate accordingly.
Experience with Backstage.io or similar developer portal frameworks.
Fluent in German and Englisch

Nice to have competences
Experience with public clouds like GCP MS Azure
Familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker
Familiarity with Testkube and Backstage.
Experience with test case management tools (e.g. TestRail Allure).
Experience in largescale projects particularly those involving developer portals.
Experience in infrastructure platform projects and their QA/testing requirements.
