As a Dairy Farm Worker in Canada youll be an essential part of the dairy industry contributing to the production and maintenance of dairy products.
Animal Care:
- Provide daily care for dairy cattle including feeding watering and monitoring their health and wellbeing.
- Assist with the birthing process and provide postnatal care to newborn calves.
- Administer medications and vaccinations as directed by the farm veterinarian.
Milking Operations:
- Operate milking equipment and machinery to milk cows efficiently.
- Ensure proper milking hygiene and sanitation standards are maintained.
- Monitor milk production and identify any abnormalities or issues with milking equipment.
Barn Maintenance:
- Clean and maintain barns milking parlors and other farm facilities.
- Bedding management: Ensure clean and comfortable bedding for cows.

Field Work:
