1. Project Coordination:
Coordinate all onsite activities to ensure smooth project execution.
Work closely with project managers engineers and contractors to align on project goals timelines and deliverables.
2. Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for all siterelated communications.
Facilitate regular meetings to update stakeholders on project progress issues and changes.
3. Safety Management:
Ensure all site activities comply with Shells health safety and environmental policies.
Conduct safety briefings and training sessions for all site personnel.
Monitor site conditions and practices to prevent accidents and incidents.
4. Resource Management:
Manage the allocation and utilization of resources including manpower equipment and materials.
Ensure that all resources are available and in good working condition when needed.
5. Quality Control:
Oversee quality assurance and quality control processes to ensure that all work meets the required standards.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify compliance with project specifications and standards.
6. Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate and uptodate records of all site activities including work permits inspection reports and daily logs.
Prepare and submit regular progress reports to project management and other stakeholders.
7. Logistics Coordination:
Coordinate the delivery and storage of materials and equipment onsite.
Ensure that logistical activities do not hinder project progress and are conducted efficiently.
8. ProblemSolving and Issue Resolution:
Identify potential issues and risks on site and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Address and resolve any onsite conflicts or problems that may arise.
9. Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure that all site activities comply with local and international regulations including environmental and safety standards.
Liaise with regulatory bodies as needed.
10. Support to Project Management:
Provide support to the project manager in planning and executing project activities.
Assist in the development and implementation of project plans and schedules.
Skills and Qualifications:
1. Organizational Skills:
Strong ability to manage multiple tasks prioritize effectively and maintain detailed records.
2. Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective coordination and reporting.
3. Technical Knowledge:
Understanding of construction and engineering processes particularly in the oil and gas industry.
4. Safety Awareness:
Indepth knowledge of health safety and environmental regulations and best practices.
5. ProblemSolving Skills:
Ability to quickly identify issues and implement effective solutions.
6. Interpersonal Skills:
Strong interpersonal skills to manage relationships with various stakeholders including contractors engineers and regulatory bodies.
7. Attention to Detail:
Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation and compliance with standards.
8. Computer Proficiency:
Proficiency in relevant software applications for scheduling documentation and communication.
