Cost Accountant - Production Accountant

• Perform monthend close inventory related functions.
  
• Maintain standard cost accounting system and analyze variances
  
• Analyze costs incurred cost of sales and calculation of inventory value including various external filings.
  
• Prepare various daily weekly and monthly management reports
  
• Prepares journal entries in support of the monthend close process.
  
• Conduct inventory reconciliations monthly.
  
• Prepares account reconciliations.
  
• Collect cost information and maintain an expenses database
  
• Construct data accumulation systems
  
• Determine fixed costs (e.g. salaries rent and insurance)
  
• Plan and record variable costs (e.g. purchases of raw material and operations costs)
  
• Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies
  
• Prepare budgeting reports (for the company and for each department)
  
• Analyze and report profit margins
  
• Prepare (monthly quarterly and annual) cost forecasts
  
• Assisting in monthend and yearend closing
  
• Identify and recommend costeffective solutions
  

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Educational Requirements:
  • BA of Commerce Major Accounting
    
• Experience Requirements:
  • 3 5 years experience in same position Food Industry is A Must.
    
• Key Skills & Core Competencies:
  • The ability to count the number of all products and determine their nature and specifications.
    
  • The ability to Know the methods of studying all types and stages of the industrial process that take place during the production stage.
    
  • Proficiency in the process of collecting data related to cost elements such as documents notices costs of using materials and hiring labor in addition to the costs of purchasing.
    
  • The ability to analyze cost elements in order to charge them to the item of units produced.
    
  • The ability to prepare reports and cost systems management accounting data financial analysis and statistical statement of financial statements
    
• Computer:
  • Very good user of MS Office Excel & other applications.
    
  • Experienced in dealing with different ERP Systems.
