Job Title: procurement specialist
Location: Remote
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure costeffective and timely acquisition of materials and services.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality cost and reliability.
- Negotiate contracts terms and pricing with suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases pricing and other important data.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand their procurement needs and ensure alignment with overall company goals.
- Stay uptodate with market trends industry standards and new procurement techniques.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Experience in procurement or a similar role.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Professional certification such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM).
