We are in search of a highenergy and skilled IT Support Specialist to join the IT team of a wellestablished familyowned manufacturing group. With a strong track record of success and a significant market share the group is guided by deeprooted family values and culture. The new team member will be trusted to manage IT functions contributing to a motivated and loyal workforce.
Reports to: Information Technology Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer onsite email and telephone support for endusers.
- Install configure and troubleshoot computer hardware and software.
- Provide functional support for enterprise applications.
- Manage user accounts in Active Directory and various company websites and applications.
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity and VPN issues.
- Administer security measures antivirus software VPN applications and network support.
- Perform system updates and upgrades.
- Monitor and maintain photocopier and printer hardware and related services.
- Install operating systems patches updates and applications.
- Maintain accurate and current documentation.
- Escalate unresolved issues to higherlevel support personnel.
Requirements
Required Skills:
- Diploma or degree in a computerrelated field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem analysis and resolution abilities.
- Superior customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fastpaced environment.
- Proficiency with desktop computer applications operating systems hardware and networking devices.
- Experience working in a Microsoftbased PC/server environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft products (Office Outlook Exchange AD).
- Solid technical support experience with Windows 7/8/10/11 setup and configuration.
- Experience with printer and peripheral installation and driver setup.
- Comprehensive understanding of networking (WAN VPN LAN) routing protocols (DNS TCP/IP) and protocols (HTTP HTTPS).
- Basic computer programming skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
