Financial Controller

In this role you will support management in decisionmaking and strategic planning by analyzing and forecasting financial results. As the Financial Controller you will gather and produce numerical data as well as qualitative and technical information. You will analyze test and interpret this data summarize your findings and make recommendations. Additionally you will ensure the accuracy of the companys results and monitor progress to meet profitability objectives.

• Financial Oversight: Manage and oversee all aspects of financial operations ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  
• Budget Management: Develop monitor and report on budgets providing insights and recommendations to optimize financial performance.
  
• Analysis and Reporting: Conduct thorough financial analyses and generate comprehensive reports to support strategic decisionmaking.
  
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and financial control.
  
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to ensure financial alignment and support business objectives.
  
  

Requirements

ALIFICATIONS

• You have a masters degree in finance management economics or quantitative (actuarial science mathematics)
  
• You have at least 3 years of professional experience in a financial analytical position.
  
• You communicate in a clear synthetic way and you know how to make causal connections. You are able to convert technical concepts into nontechnical terms.
  
• You are discreet and you respect the confidentiality of the information handled.
  
• You have a perfect knowledge of Dutch or French and an excellent knowledge of English. Active knowledge of the second national language is an asset.
  

Master's degree in finance, management, economics, or a quantitative field (e.g., actuarial science, mathematics). Minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial analysis role. Knowledge of the insurance industry, particularly the P&C sector, is essential. Strong analytical skills with a strategic mindset and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts into non-technical language. Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing needs, and collaborate effectively. Discretion and respect for confidentiality in handling sensitive information. Proficiency in either French or Dutch, along with excellent English skills. Active knowledge of the second language is advantageous.
