JOB DESCRIPTION
The incumbent must have the competency to perform the following HR activities independently with minimum supervision:
Manage recruitment and selection activities.
Manage employment and cessation activities.
Administer onboarding activities.
Manage training and development activities.
Process payroll and overtime payment.
Administer compensation benefits and welfare programs.
Administer discipline and compliance policy.
Maintain personnel records and HR information systems.
Develop and implement HR policies procedures and work instructions.
Assist in performance evaluation exercise.
Assist in HR planning and budget exercise.
Participate in safety and recreation committee.
Assist in collective agreement negotiation with Union.
Prepare monthly quarterly and annual HR reports.
Manage HR services for foreign workers from China and Malaysia.
REQUIREMENTS
Degree in human resource management
Handson HR generalist experience
At least 5 years of working experience in a hitech manufacturing environment
Intermediate competency in Microsoft Office applications such as Words Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Prepared to work occasional overtime to meet payroll and project deadline
Meticulous organized systematic and creative problemsolver
A team player and individual contributor
Positive personality with Can Do attitude
Working experience with human resource information systems such as TimesPay.
