Credit Analyst

Salary Range: $55000 $75000 per year

As a Credit Analyst you will be responsible for assessing the creditworthiness of potential clients. You will analyze financial data to determine the likelihood of a borrower honoring their financial obligations. This role is critical in helping our company minimize risks and make informed lending decisions.

• Analyze credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money.
• Prepare reports that include the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money.
• Evaluate financial status by producing financial ratios through computer programs.
• Complete loan applications including credit analyses and summaries of loan requests and submit to loan committees for approval.
• Review individual or commercial customer files to identify and select delinquent accounts for collection.
• Consult with customers to resolve complaints and verify financial and credit transactions.
• Recommend develop and maintain financial databases computer software systems and manual filing systems.

• Bachelors degree in Finance Economics or a related field.
• Proven experience as a credit analyst financial analyst or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of financial spreadsheets software and statistical analysis.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to create and process financial spreadsheets.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
