General Accountant

We are looking for a selfstarted Senior Accountant to lay the foundation for gamechanging nanomedicine research to help millions of patients around the globe. Since our inception our team has been committed to researching and developing disruptive nanomedicine approaches that could revolutionise the way many cancers are treated.

Nanobiotix designs and manufactures nanoparticles that safely enhance the efficacy of radiation therapy in the treatment of cancer. We believe that radiotherapy combined with NBTXR3 can become a new standard of care in cancer treatment.

Tasks

The listed tasks are part of a team work and not a oneperson responsibility:

• Assist the Accounting Senior Manager and participate with the accounting team in the overall accounting :

• payment reviews and controls

• to payroll  employees compensations and employers social obligations

• monthly closing records (internal control SOX)

• bank loans followup

• equity instruments followup and records

• clinical and nonclinical accruals review and records

• Revenue and overall order to cash process

• Tax filings

• and financial audit.

• Take part in the overall improvement of accounting processes & tools and in the level of controls to support the groups growth and SOX control requirements.

• Take part in various finance function transformation projects: equity incentives plan to be deployed on a specific tool ERP change einvoicing P2P automatization process

Requirements

These listed skills represent an ideal for the position but our selection process is inclusive and open to a diversity of talents and experiences :

• Ideally a significant experience in General Accounting

• A first experience in an audit firm would be appreciated

• A degree in Accounting

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic tools

• Demonstrate a good level of professional skill and knowledge in accounting and tax; keep awareness of regulations developments and trends

• Appetite for or/and experience in treasury management

• Used to a working environment with high level of control and full audittrack requirements

• An English command both written and verbal

• Experience in project management for the implementation of a new ERP system would be preferred

• Knowledge of SAGE would be preferred (accounting system payment and purchase ordering modules)
