Director of Digital

Our new Director will have a transformative approach, championing how we use digital, data and technology across the Council, advocating our vision to colleagues, partners and Members to develop buy-in and support at all levels. Our journey is also one of culture change, ensuring that the potential of the technologies we are implementing are realised, connecting vision with the daily operating environment, whilst ensuring our digital and technology offer evolves to meet modern standards. You will take strategic ownership of ICT, technology and data systems, providing assurance for security and privacy, with clear governance and oversight, and being a key adviser to senior officers and Members.

With a track record of effective leadership of transformation and a wealth of experience in a similar role, you will understand the complexity of our operating environment from having worked within either the public or private sectors.
