Company Description
ScrollBites is on a mission to become the world's #1 destination for top restaurant bites. We help people make informed decisions about what to eat by crowdsourcing the latest and most popular dishes near them that foodies have enjoyed and shared. We believe that everyone should be able to find great food without having to spend hours searching for it.
Role Description
- Take full ownership of the frontend and backend systems.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure that best practices are applied and blind spots are addressed.
- Architect the overall system to ensure a seamless user experience, performance aligned with industry standards, scalability, ease of maintainability, and at a reasonable cost.
- Lead freelancers, when needed, to develop the required functionality.
- Ensure that all code-level and API level developments are documented clearly.
- Able to write code in JavaScript and Typescript to meet requirements on React Native, React, Node.JS, and Next.JS developments.

Ideal Co-Founder
- Has previous experience founding a startup and/or entrepreneurship.
- Experienced in B2C or Direct Consumer products such as social apps, games, food apps, or e-commerce.
- 3-5 years of experience in React Native
- 5+ years in software development

8 years of experience in SaaS, I've led AI training programs for over 6000 engineers at one of the world's largest ERP companies, managed several ML finance products for corporate clients, and have had multiple customer facing roles in sales, advocacy, and support in several countries.
