Supply Chain Director

Our client is a supermarkets retail chain

Responsibilities

Direct resolves and escalate everyday concerns to ensure merchandise flow through the distribution network and fulfillment locations.

Evaluate stakeholder data to optimize network efficiency.

Supply supplier compliance data.

Analyze daily and escalated shipping, receiving, inventory, and return issues.

Review merchandising, distribution, and supplier performance.

Manage external relationships as the main point of contact.

Convey agreements and conclusions to external parties.

Use quarterly scorecards to monitor and rectify performance and help senior leadership choose service providers to guarantee external partners comply with corporate standards and agreements.

Enhance supply chain performance by authorizing a flow path channel from supplier to store to best fit sales, in-stock, and profit KPIs; communicate with supply chain stakeholders to meet sales, in-stock, inventory, profitability, and strategy goals; and track movement and inventory.

Provide recommendations to meet conflicting goals while recognizing order exceptions, disruptions, and supply chain limits that will effect supply chain execution and developing and coordinating a resolution.

Supervising the field liaison drives field-level direction and guides operations.

Inform suppliers and transporters of operating expectations.

Solve stakeholder performance issues.

Direct supply chain flow process improvement through designing, developing, and implementing new stakeholder collaboration methods.

Product flow plan objectives should be prioritized and feasible.

Handle error-correction and feedback loops.

Find ways to boost service.

Give cost recommendations to eliminate process waste, offer cost reduction and efficiency options, and evaluate the impact and advantages to internal operations.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or related discipline and 5 years of logistics, distribution, transportation, or related experience

3 years' expert Microsoft Office experience.

2 years supervising.
