GENERAL MANAGER

For a client of ours, a multinational group with a global manufacturing footprint, we are looking for the GENERAL MANAGER for their Legal Entity located in Brazil.

Mission:

The successful candidate will manage all the activities for the Brazilian company with a hands-on approach and will be committed to the expansion of the business by implementing strategies that increase productivity and enable sales targets achievement.

Main responsibilities:

• Take full P&L responsibility for the business
• Develop forecasts, financial objectives and implement business plans
• Define and implement the strategy of consolidation and development of Brazilian market presence
• Look for potential business growth, assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunities

Main requirements and qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in economical/technical discipline (MBA will be considered as a plus)
• Operations background is preferable.
• A proven track record of 10-15 years of experience in leading positions in international companies
• Fluent both in Portuguese and English; Spanish knowledge will be a plus
• Willingness to travel frequently in Brazil and to work into an international context
• Strong understanding of Brazilian market dynamics and requirements
• Results driven, goals oriented and customer focused
• Strong leadership and human resources management skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Energetic manager with high communication and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated and results driven individual
