The Manufacturing Technical Support Division is a multi-disciplinary organization with interface to technical, and in some cases business, support requirements for our Global Manufacturing Admin Area. Its function caters mainly to the technical needs of GM Operating facilities. Your primary role will be to handle process safety engineering aspects. This will include ensuring safety management compliance and improving safety of multiple operating facilities from Global Manufacturing Admin Area. You will also be responsible for providing technical support on high priority process safety engineering and management issues.
Key Responsibilities
As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:
- Ensure safety compliance of each operating facilities.
- Develop and maintain safety Policy, documents and procedures.
- Work with refinery teams to identify Process Hazard Analysis opportunities and make recommendations to achieve more safe operations.
- Analyze and monitor refinery Management OF Change (MOC) use on daily basis and conduct MOC audits.
- Monitor refinery Process Safety Event Reporting and Evaluation.
- Conduct jobsite observation, field inspections to collect data for process safety analyses.
- Conduct internal benchmarking studies among the oil and gas refineries.
- Organize technical exchange workshops among the oil and gas refineries Develop and deliver training material to promote process safety awareness among refinery personnel.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- You must hold a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering.
- You should have a minimum of 15 years experience in refining /oil and gas plants /petrochemical industries.
- You must be able to demonstrate efficiency in the codes and standards in the oil and gas industry, i.e.,
- API, BS, ISO, ASME, ANSI, IEC, ISA, IEEE, etc.
- You should have Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in the field of process safety engineering.
- You should have working knowledge of oil/gas-related plant processes.
- You should have familiarity with development of process safety roadmap, and setting targets of safety key performance indicators.
- You should have strong data collection and data analytic experience to improve safety concern and advise for better safety performance.
- Strong management and coordination skills.
